3rd Brake Light/Cargo Light

Hey folks,

Got a leak in back that I think is probably from the 3rd Brake light. I'd like to replace it with a new one, and am looking for recommendations on brand, online vendors, etc. (I'm fairly certain no local chains are going to stock parts for a '94 so I think online is probably my only option). Anyone have any good experiences or good deals to recommend? Anyone to avoid? Anyone know what the dealer charges for these?

I haven't decided yet, but I'm not opposed to going LED either - I figure that might last longer than the incandecent bulbs, but might look a bit odd with the stock tail lights.

This is for a '94 ext. cab with the bed cargo-lights/brake light combo.

there was one user who put an LED strip in the stock third brake light. im not sure where exactly to get an original one though. i had the leak and just replaced the bulbs with LED bulbs and then sealed it up with silicone

I have the Putco LED light. Pretty pricey (~$80) but it's very good quality, looks great, doesn't leak, and you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs.
