3rd brake light/cargo light

Hi everybody. I have a 2001 Ford Ranger 4x4. I love it to death! My 3rd brake light/cargo light doesn't work. Everything else electrically works fine. The bulbs are good. I could not find what fuse it would be while looking in the owners manual. Any suggestions?

for the longest time I thought mine didn't work, it turns out it was just a rather strong detent in the switch. Now mine is a '97 and it's part of the dimmer switch-wheel that controls the dashboard, not sure if it's still the case with an '01.

Try giving it an extra shove upward to see if it turns on. that's all mine took

does brake light it self not turn on when the brakes are pushed? I grabbed a broom handle to test mine. Mine burned out and so when I got my LED's for my dashboard I got a high power one for the 3rd brake light and wanted to see it lol.
