So im wondering if i get a 4" lift, 3" Body, and some fender cutting do you think i can fit a 37" bogger? I will be running 4.56 gears and have the D35 and 8.8, the 4.0 and M5OD swapped in by then. Think i should be fine? The truck will be my winter beater anyways i have my 98 vw gti for my summer vehicle, the truck will be out for the occasionally mud bogging.

37" boggers are a very short tire, right around 35"... You shouldn't have much of an issue with clearance and as long as your easy with the skinny pedal you shouldn't have to worry about breakage. Just run 760 joints with full circle clips and let off the gas/hit the clutch if it ever starts to bounce as thats when most breakage will occur.

4.56 won't be even close to enough for those tires if you have a 2.9L. Go with 5.13.

he said he's got a 4.0/m5od swap planned.

edit: never mind, pwrranger beat me to it.

Oh whoop, Guess I skimmed over that lol

I'd still say 5.13 though (certainly no less than 4.88 if those tires actually do measure 35")

a 2.9 and 37's would certainly deem 5th gear useless, but a 4.0 should turn em. most likely its just gonna get 5 mpg and 0-60 in 1 day. but it'll look really cool!
