Will these fit with cut fenders?

What rim sizes are recommended?

I do not want to sacrafice wheel travel/turning so if i cant have full flex with the 35" tires i want to run 33" please let me know.

I dont mind cutting and moving things under the hood as long as its reasonable.

I have a 91 ranger xlt 4x4 supercab.

I know im going to eather have to drop the driveshaft pivot point or get a new one from a 98+.

Im prob going to have to gear it to... Recomendations? How about gears with remote lockers (numatic or electronic)

I'm on my phone or I would post a pic, but I had SJ 6" coils and 35s. It rubbed a little at full flex with no trimming. My avatar is a good example.

Ive got a 6" skyjacker with 33's and minor trimming, and 35s would easily fit. Definitely go 35's or even 37's, my buddy runs them on his explorer no problems. (he beats the hell out of it too)

As for gears and lockers: What engine do you have? and What will the truck be used for?

I have a 2.9 and run 33s and 4.56s I wish I would have gone with deeper gearing maybe 4.88s. If it sees alot of road/highway use you may not go as low (numerically higher) with your gearing. If just a toy or trail truck go straight to 5.13s.

E-lockers are known to fail when needed most, air lockers are expensive but would make for better road manners. I would run a aussie locker or similar upfront, cheap and works very well, then a detroit in the rear or a selectable if it sees alot of road miles.

Also it would be a good time to consider upgrading the rear axle to a 31 spline 8.8
they can be found relatively cheap in scrapyards and some even come with discs and they are close to the stock width and the same bolt pattern. It would add considerable strength and be a better candidate for gears/lockers than a 7.5 axle

Here is my truck on 33s the Ex on 37's and another white ranger on 37s....I know the Ex has a body lift but just cut more fender and you will be fine.

im guna go with 35 inch tires. i have a 4.0 OHV and 5 speed manual. i think i have a 8.8 LSD in it already.

the truck will be used for fun on the weekends...

i wana run the truck at a good pace through trails... not so much crawling so im looking into good shocks.

i would like a wide truck to so it is stable... any rim recomendations?
