Long time no post. I finally mocked, set ,and fired my small block chevy in my 84 ranger. Fit like a glove with no major SNAFU's except my ditching the factory manual out of fear of exploding, so it's going to be home to a '90 700R4 O/D lock up trans when I get it back from the trans guy monday. Measure out the drive shaft and should be moving under it own power mid next week. One it moves all the body work can be done and off to paint. Then my '94 Eddie Bauer leather int. can go in, dash and all. Very crude pics can be found here and also a pic of the change if any of the ride height.. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2991197

i have always wanted to do that, its the same as a 302 but you save 2 grand, and get more power. whos going to say anything anyways?

Some daylight pics would be nice>>>>:bye:

Interior pics also needed, what kinda gauge setup ya runnin?

What exhaust manifolds are those in the pics? No steerin shaft clearance issues?

Keep us updated!!!

Sorry

Sorry the pics are so dark, but it late Friday night and I was ready to go home. plus with no drivetrain it's one bloody heavy truck to push! And it's only 20 degrees in Ohio right now. Don't fret as I will get better pics as the final bits start making their way into the truck. I don't know what I am using for gauges yet.. I am an electrical engineer by education so who knows what I will cook up .. he he he.. FrankenRanger out.
