got a ranger xlt 4.0 v6 and was wondering whether i should go with 35's or 34's. If i get 35's i'll need a 4" suspension lift and a 3" body but with the 34's i just need the suspension is the 35" worth the extra money for the body lift. (i go muddin sometimes but mostly my daily driver)

i have a 90 ranger with 4" sus and 3" body and i was runnig 33" could of put 35s on but didnt have any then i swaped explorer sprin in the rear and give it 2" maybe 3" now my bed of my truck clear's my 33"

35's really won't make that big of a difference, it's a half inch either side of the rim we're talking about. It also depends on the brand of tire too, some say they are a 35 or 34, but in some cases they're not quite what they state + you might want to look at what gears you're running as well. With a larger size tire, you run the risk of added strain on your front end components like bearings and such.

I'm currently running 34x10.5 LTB's on a 6 inch suspension and 3 inch BL. I did swap my 35x12.5 MTR's from my exploder on it, and they looked & handled much better, but they eventually went back onto the exploder as it's a DD

Just my 2 cents

You guys are forgetting he's got a '98, bigger wheel openings. You should be able to pull off the 34x10.50s with a torsion crank or leveling kit. In reality, they're only 32.5"~ on an 8" rim.

what? a 98? I thought all the cool kids were rolling in '91's :D

(whoops my bad) I'm lost when it comes to the gen 3 +

yeah a leveling kit should clear 34s and 33s or just crank the torsion bars
