okay so im looking at getting some 33x14.50r15 boggers for my 85 ranger, cause i mud alot and i like the wide tire look. im currently running a 4 suspenison lift and i want to throw a bl on. i guess my question would i have enough lift that i wouldnt have to do any fender trimmin?? and would my small dana 28 be able to handle a tire of that size???

Dana 28's life depends on how heavy your foot is...

Check this: http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/TireFitment.html

With a 14.5" wide tire on stock back spacing, my guess is trimming will be needed. I went to 11.5" TSLs on my 94 and the rubbed with 2" of lift.

I am not sure what the laws are in Virginia, but if the tires stick out too far in PA that can cause failed inspection or a ticket from the coppers. Just something to consider.

well i live in Virginia but my truck is registered in PA, i mean i could always just have a extra set for inspection if need be, i mean if worst comes to worst i can trim but i rather try not too

your gonna rub for sure when you turn. I have a newer ranger but I had a 4in lift on it with the same tire you want to put on yours and when I turnd and hit any kind of bump they rubbed. it wasn't too bad though so I say run it and hammer down.

If you do go with those tires be reaaallly light on the skinny pedal... Those Dana 28s are pretty weak and boggers are a real heavy tire

Even if your truck is registered in PA you will get nailed in VA for violating their laws so check it out before you get pulled... You won't have to pass their inspection but they can nail you for window tint, vehicle dimensions, bumper height, etc. because you are driving in their state. Although I think you are good with the 14.50's (used to live there) it'll take you 5 mins to google it. And I'll assume you are military for having a PA registered vehicle living in VA beach... they love to ticket us... Save yourself the a** pain and check.
