i want to lift a ranger and put 33x10.5 tires under it. i want to lift it the least amount possible or just put in a leveling kit. post any pics of rides like this with 33x10.5 and a leveling kit

it depends on a couple things with lifts, first the year of the ranger....if its a newer model you can just add a 3in body lift and crank the hell out of the torsion bars (making it a bumpy ride) and you may get lucky with just that.....if its an older model like mine with the ttb suspension your going to need either a 6in suspension lift or a combination of a suspension and a body....right now im running 33's, it almost cleared with the 3 inch suspension but the tires scrubbed bad before you could get a full turn........general rule, you need around 5-6 inches of total lift to clear 33's.....maybe 4. good luck man.

mine is a 1983. i have a 2" body lift and i'm running 31" tires and have room (i believe) for 32+" tires. currently 215/85x16, next summer 235/85x16. tall and skinny. i'm having no problems with these tires with just the body lift.

6" lift, 33" bfg MT. I wouldn't go any smaller lift, I flex and still touch my wheel wells (for fun!)

im looking at getting a 93-7 model. i read in a few places you could fit 33x10.5 with just a leveling kit and minor trimming and with a newer model you could fit them with just a t bar crank

well. i'm not really planning on off roading with it. i just love the aggressive look. i just wanted to know if it would fit until i could afford a lift

I have 33x12.5 on a 3in back space rim and my 4inch lift cleared with no rubbing, but looked goofy like pillen said, so I went 2 more inches up in the lift.

83-97 rangers are the cheepest to lift right.

by the way 83-97 rangers dont have t-bars its coil spring.
