There are a couple threads about tires and 33's but none really answered my question. I have a 1986 ranger with a 4 inch suspension lift. I have 31" BFG A/t's on there now and was wondering if i will fit 33's without rubbing or having to cut the fenders?

3" lift and 33's

I have an 87 sc and have a 3" body lift with 33 x 9.50 and the rub very little mostly on turns and no other time if I had 4" I bet I would be fine. worse case if I was you would be to put in a 2 or 3" body lift and you won't have a problem...

33/12.50s wont fit. I had 3" body, 2" suspension on my gen 1 and 33's rubbed horribly.

On my old 86 Ranger, I had a 4" suspension lift, no body lift, 32"s on 15x8's. They rubbed a little. Had to trim just a little so with 33's, I believe you'd have to trim also.
