Would i be able to fit 33x12.5x15 on my 1990 ranger regular cab 4x4 with a 3 inch body lift? Also would my stock gears work for this set up?

no you cant unless you are cutting off the box rails and the front fenders

Been running 33x12.50x15s on 15x8s for a while on a '94 supercab. Did get a little fender rub on the front part of the rear fenders. And did a WHOLE lot of flexing! :icon_thumby:
Also been running a freshly built 4.0, the 5 speed, and 3.73 gears. It'll pull em but the mileage goes down a little. Works fairly well off road!

Lots of cutting required. I knew a guy who was running a 3 in. body lift and 32x11.50s on an early Ranger and he had to do lots of fender chopping to even clear those.

I'm running 33's on 89 BII with 1" body lift. Look at write up in tech section under "Fender Cutting 101".

Unsure of gear ratio but running a 2.9L. Would I be better off with a 31x10.5x15 on a 15x8 rim?

Look at your axle tags for the ratio... or get the axle code off the doorjamb or watev it's called that has all your vehicle info crap and look up in the tech library...

as for fitment...

A lot of it :D at least that's my preferred method

i did it on my 88 wit just a leveling spacer and a inch trim on the bottom corners of the front fenders
