i am buying new tires for my 1996 4x4 ranger with 4 inch RC lift

a MUD TERRAIN tire SOO COOL but so impractical for what i am doin
city driving in wet seattle and occalaional off road

i could go with any mud terrain... toyo open country, pro comp mt.. etc

and i really like the BFG all terrains but they are just sort of small in the 33 size

33 are actually 32.56 inches
35 are actually 34.57 inches

so with that being said
would 35 BFG AT s fit??? i think that would look really good??

what should i do??

ALSO
how bad would the GAS MILAGE LOSS be on the 35 ATs
i assume that they roll pretty good??

The stock gears (doesn't matter what they are) are going to suck with 35s (regearing will make big improvements with the 33s also).

You didn't mention what engine you have... Assuming the 4.0L, you'll want 4.88 with 35s, 4.56 with 33s, for best power and MPG.

Find the axle code on your door sticker (or the differential tag) and look it up here if you're curious about it.

I don't think a 4" lift will be enough for 35's. Need either a 6" suspension or 4" suspension + body lift.
