I'm new to the forums but I've been searching for an answer to my question for a while with no luck...

So, I'm currently running 31x10.50x15 BFG AT's on 15x7 Alcoa wheels. I would like to upgrade my tire/wheel setup with 32x11.50x15 BFG AT's or MT KM2's on 15x8 black steel wheels (not sure what kind yet).

Can this be done without any problems or issues on stock suspension? Also, if anyone has done something similar to this and has pics I'd really like to check them out.

Any feedback would be appreciated and I appologize if this question has been answered and I missed it. Thanks. :icon_cheers:

I guess I should've read the the post titled "read before posting"...:icon_confused:

Thanks for the quick reply.

Thanks for the info everyone. One more question, any wheel suggestions? I'm looking for something that can handle some desert off-roading (rocks and sand) without breaking the bank. Thanks.

American Racing 767.

Could I fit 265/70/18 with only a leveling kit?

Rims would be 18x8 Helo's. +35mm offset with 5.88 inches of backspace.

Thanks for the help!

Doubt it. Probably too tall.
There is no "leveling kit" for late-models, only a torsion twist or for a 4x2 Edge, dropped spindles.

No way in hell. Chevy offset claims another victim. Assuming the tires themselves would fit, you'd need about a 1.5" spacer with those wheels.

Instead of just saying no way in hell, :icon_idea: explain why as well. But too late, I already found out why.

No leveling kit eh? What's this then?? Click

Hmm, probably just some front lift kit that would make a truck look retarded. :thefinger:

Hey, buddy, YOU HAVE TORSION BARS. Before you start flippin the bird around, those are torsion keys. You already have two under the truck. Pull the protectors off and crank the torsion bar adjustment bolts with the front wheels off the ground. This will give you the "leveling " you are looking for. There's no need to spend $300 for those. I think you need to read up some more about the truck you have. Johnny is right, and knows what he's talking about. :icon_thumby:

This was the kind of response I was looking for. Thanks. I didn't plan on buying those keys because I already have my torsion bars slightly cranked. How much lift will the full crank give me in the front?

I did explain why. Not my fault if you can't read:

I wouldn't call a torsion key a "leveling kit". Also no where on the link does it say "leveling kit". Battle of semantics but then flipping the bird to a moderator when you're brand new isn't the way to get off on the right foot.
I have probably forgotten more than you will ever know about lifting late models. Bad idea to enter a battle of wits only half armed. Also a bad idea to pick fights or arguments with people you don't know.
Now then....
If you would like to chill out and find out more about your truck and the options you have for modifications from people who have been down that road already, then welcome to TRS. :icon_cheers:
