08 ranger sport. 07 torsion keys up front with what i believe is a slight torsion crank. just under 35 inches from ground to top of wheel well, anyway. stock 255 70 r16's. could i run 32's without any rub, and would there be any noticeable loss of performance with a 3.73 rear axle ratio? and how pricey is a speedometer calibration?

youre basically going from a 30" tire to a 32" tire...you will definitely be able to tell the difference. Also is it auto or stick? youll feel it a lot more with a stick...be prepared to feather your clutch a little. With that said Im pretty sure you should be able to fit them. I ran 33X12.5's with 3 73s for a while. It was manageable...but every time i let that clutch out i could feel the strain on the drivetrain (clutch). I have a 4.0....if you have a 3.0 (im guessing) it will be even more noticeable.

I say do it...and see what happens.

its a 4.0 with 5 speed auto. so i should be good. lot of trouble for one more inch of lift

You should be fine running 32" tires, you might have some rubbing issues at full lock turning though

i have the bars cranked on my 09, (no prekey) and i fit 265/75r16s on it no problem. i can feel the diffrence in power but its not to bad and i have no rubbing issues. also if you put the keys from a 07 on it go ahead and get the 4wd rear block and ubolts too. if you dont you will have a pre runner look with the nose high. if you just want it level then crank the ones you have and call of the day. cant post a pic but go to this link www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=30908416&l=c5a9b0215a&id=1469660679

I have 32s without any problems. You'll notice a decrease in performance but you'll get used to it. I wouldn't bother to pay for a speedo recalibration, you just need to know you'll be going about 10% faster than what the speedo says.
