I have a 08 Ranger Sport 4x4 with 3.73 stock gears and i run 32's now a 265/75/16, i get about 400kms to 420 per tank, just wondering if getting 33's a 285/75/16 would be much worse on gas , and will they fit no problem i have the pre key mod and have the t bars cranked and 06 fx4 blocks in the back and offset dick cepek dc 1's rims, just wondering if anybody has 33's with the 3 73 gears so i can see how the gas mileage is and if they fit no problem?:yahoo:

I have 3.73 w/ 33s on a 15" rim. With my 4.0 manual trans I get between 16-18 mpg... my daily driving is 50/50 freeway/city and even when I roadtrip I don't break 18...

They will fit fine. I had 265/75's on my old Sport Trac with 3.73 gears and it hurt the mpg. Do make sure you're accounting for the odometer being off though when you calculate the mpg. I figured mine was off by 10% but the best mpg I ever got with that setup was 15 on the highway.
