has anyone ran 32s with 3.73 gears in a 2.9 5 speed ranger? does it crusie down the highway good in fourth and could you still climb a steep hill at 40-55?

I ran 31s with 3.73s and a 2.9 spd. 5th gear was pretty useless slower than 65 and on anything other than flat ground. So yeah the highway was decent in 4th and you can still climbs, you might use third though.

so if you were me and had the choose between 235/75r15 and 32/11.5r15 wich size would you preffer?

For 3.73s? 235/75. It's closer to stock, easier on the gearing and all that. For my current set-up, I'd go with the 32s since I have 4.56s and will be giving it a little more lift in the future.

32s look awesome but are a bit more expensive.. i went from 235s an 3.27s to 31s an 3.73s to 33s an 3.73s an with 33s its not all that horrible..

thank you for all the infomation i decied to use the 32s because they have more tred and i put a 235/75r15 up to my 30/9.50r15 thats on the truck, and i think it would look a little small on my truck. ill try to post some pix when i get the 32s on the truck.
