302 swap 2000 ranger

Hey guys I am thinking of dropping a old carbeurated 302 in my 2000 extended cab 3.0L 5 speed. I only have two questions. 1If i remove the ecm and all the engine wiring will I still be able to use my 4x4 switch and everything work? 2. What standard transmissions are available along with t-cases for the project. Thanks in advance

No, it won't. The gem module and 4x4 shift module need to see the transmission range sensors position in order to be able to shift...
