302 harmonic balancer issues

Hey guys, i'm helping out a friend with his 302 ranger project. He has nice vibration happening, we're thinking is a balance issue. The 302 is out of an 87 Bronco, it had an auto behind it. We're using a t18 behind it in the ranger. Is there a difference balancer we will need with using the t18 vs. the auto?

No same balancer for both---50 oz/in. Make sure the flywheel is 50 oz/in too.
