302 engine mounting options

Wade this is the ebay number i got these mount plates 220351481264 and the pass side dowel pin you removed it did it effect any play in mounting thanks for you help and could you help me to be able to post my actual pics of my motor and etc it would help for your help your giving me thanks

so on thoes mounts, do you have the shorter slant facing forward or backwards? The way i have it on mine is the short slant facing forward, also if you look in my sig, and click on the thing that says clicky, you should be able to see the way i did mine before i cut the excess off.

Viewed the plates on eBay. I made my own to make me happy. The locator pin isn't missed.

The "short side" faces forward. If you reversed it, I think you'd put the front of the engine through the radiator core support.

how much?

Since the engine will need a rebuild and I have no idea about the tranny, I'll take $500 for both. I was told it was a strong motor that was rebuilt shortly before the truck it was in got parked. But that was 5 years ago and it hasn't run since and it is partially torn down now.
