Hey guys... Im new here but hoping to get a little advice.

I have a 1997 Ranger 2wd. Its a baja truck with eibach race runner coil overs all around with a long arm kit up front and a triangulated 4-link in the rear... so as you can imagine i have a lot of suspension travel. I just put a 302/c4 in it and noticed the old driveshaft is too short. I wondering what my best option is for a driveshaft or if there is an adapter i can use or what???

Here is a picture of the truck:

what i did was got mine lengthened, balanced, new larger yokes on each end with Spicer ujoints, worth every penny!

Ryan right??

Thats what I was thinking... how much did that cost ya?

I was also looking at Tom Woods Custom Driveshafts and they make a driveshaft with a huge slip yoke allowing for 25" of travel in slip yoke... I was thinking of doing something along those lines but it seems pretty expensive so if I can find a cheap way to do it ill try that :icon_cheers:

yes u did... i just sent woods the info for a quote on their long travel driveshaft so i guess we'll see how many years i have to work to afford that lol
