Got a couple questions...i got an 08 ranger 2wd ext cab...coil front suspension...i wanna lift it...first will the fabtech 3" spindles fit my 08?, it says i think 01-07 so i figure it will but i wanted to make sure before i bought...then if will fit and i end up lifting my whole truck 3", can i keep my stock rims and run any 33's?? i dont offroad or anything, its just a daily driver on pavement 98% of the time...and also i wanted to know if the 3" body lift will fit on it but im not sure if it will, it goes up to 06 models; here it is: http://www.jegs.com/i/Performance+Accessories/734/70033/10002/-1

As long as your truck isn't the edge model then the spindles will fit, I wouldn't go 33 I would go 31 unless you plan on doing the body lift and spindles at the same time then you will be able to fit 33s, I believe the body lift from the 06 will fit seeing as how the 06 and 08 are the same

ok cool...what about the stock rims?? can i make them work at all with the spindle lift or would i need to do the body also so i can keep my stocks?

hey sorry to change the subject guys, but i have a 2000 ford ranger 4x4, and i was wondering if i put a 3'' body lift on it would i be able to fit 33'' tires?

The tires will fit with the lift but the stock rims are 7" wide and you should really have 8" or even 10" on a 33" tire.

Yes. Search is your friend.

Thanks alot for the answer, i also heard that i might not have enough power to turn the tires with just a 3.0? Should i change the gears too?

You would be happier with 4.56 gears. If it is a stick I'd consider 4.88's.

how much do you think the gears would cost to switch out? and if i didnt, what would make me want to switch?

well im currently running a 33x12.50x15 on a 15x7 rim with no problems and i am also running 4.10s with my 3.0 5spd and its a little slow but nothing down shifting wont fix, whats your current gear ratio? anything less than 4.10s with the 3.0 and your gunna start running through trannies or clutches if its a manual, regearing is gunna cost about 700 if you dont know someone that can do it for less
