Applications:

1987–1997 Ford Aerostar
1986–2007 Ford Taurus
1986–2005 Mercury Sable
1990–1992 Ford Probe
1991–2008 Ford Ranger
1992–1994 Ford Tempo
1992–1994 Mercury Topaz
1994–2007 Mazda B3000
1995–2001 Ford Windstar

I think that about covers it

Any 3.0 Vulcan will work, FWD applications you need to change the head gaskets to match your application.

JP02XLT

I believe the crank in the 4WD vehicles is hardened, not that it would matter to put one in a 2WD vehicle but just something to consider.

I've never heard that, and Rock does not list different cranks for 2WD/4WD.

Not true. The engines are the exact same between the 2wd and 4wd. All crankshafts are hardened where the pistons/bearings ride.
