Why go with one over the other? I'm sure this has been covered before but I can't find it. With a triangulated 3 link you're basically the same as a 4 link with the pivots on the pumpkin, right?

And I'm asking in the Prerunner sense, but I'd like to see all the reason for each one

Ive never seen a triangulated 3 link. But the way I see it, 3 would be better if you dont have lots of room to work with, but if you can triangulate a 4 link you dont need to run a track/panhard bar. With a 3 link you have 1 less thing holding your axles in place, so they are subjected to more abuse, (33% on a 3L vs. 25% on a 4L.)
From what ive seen most guys run a 3L with panhard up front and a triangulated 4L out back.

Triangulated 3 link basically being a triangulated 4 link with the two uppers connected and pivoting off of one heim

Okay i get it. So the upper looks like a wishbone. I've seen those, just didnt make the connection at the time, thanks
