Hey guys I was just curious as to what kind of rims and tires I should use if I were to use a 3 inch body lift. Also what kind of modifications would need to be done to my ranger if I do this body lift?

Hey Kid,

In short, get 33 x 12.50 x (rim size) tires. You'll be fine with that 5th Generation Ranger. I'm assuming it's 2WD?

That's just a popular size. You'll need new wheels. 15" x 8" or a 15" x 10" is popular, with a 5 x 4.5" bolt pattern, ~ 3.75" offset.

With a proper body lift, no prior mods need to be done.

With the body lift, it depends. Is it a manual transfer case? Manual transmission? What size engine?

It's easy. Just unbolt the bed & cab, and put blocks in it. Extend the steering. Drop the radiator with brackets. Add brackets to the front & rear bumpers after taking htem off and reinstalling it. Removing the interior trim and carpet to access the previously mentioned bolts.
