3" body lift

looking at buying a 3" body lift one of my buddys has taken out if his ranger but he can not find the steering extension..woundering if there was a way to fabricate something up or buy them speratly somewhere?

you can buy it seperatly from performace accessories. i think around $25ish? i cant remember price.

i was also thinking of a way of extending it myself as a extension costs too much
so i was going to cut the shaft and find a piece that fits over it then weld it up. i think it needs to be extended 1.5"?
