3" body lift for an 06 XLT, is this the one?

ok, ive been lurking for a few minutes and havent found an exact answer. im looking to lift my 06 xlt enough to put some 33's under it. its nothing serious i never really go offroad unless im hunting or really, really hammer drunk.

i was looking for a kit online but everything says 98-05, idk if they just havent been updated or whatever. i hear the 98-05 kits will work on an 06 without problems. what about the bumpers? do they line up? i can fab brackets if not i just want to know if the kit i want to buy will include them.

so pretty much this is my question... i found this on summit. if i want to lift my junk for cheap, is this what i buy?

also going to buy the shifter extension obviously. i just need some input from someone who has done this and can tell me i can make it work lol. thanks guys

It will fit, the info just wasn't updated. The body lift should come with bumper brackets.
Assuming your truck is a 4x4 with front tow hooks, they will either have to come off or you'll need to cut some ugly notches in the valance.

i had an 04 xlt that was lifted when i got it, it had no tow hooks in the front just some cheesey grill where they used to be. ill prolly go with that. thanks alot.

also, has anyone fit a 33" tire on a truck with a 3" lift using the original 16" wheels? i am going to anodize mine black i think it will look great on a DSG ranger

Rough coutry has a pretty good 3 inch lift has everything you need.
I know alot dont like rough country...well may it tuff country...lol alwell check it out i like the lift

i had 33x11.50 on stock 16" wheels and it did fine. just upgraded to 16x10 and still have no issues

i am gonna order the PA 3" kit next week. is there anything else i should get other than the shifter extension that you guys can think of that would help me out?

so far on the list for my bone stock truck are:

3" lift
33" BFG mud terrains
exhaust, probably just a catback
cold air intake
superchip
window tints
and some other crap

the plan is to do this somewhat cheap i already have a money pit, im just sick of looking at this stock crap in my yard haha

any bodylift for a 98+ will fit ALL 98+ trucks. There are little bitty differences like the fuel filler necks and vent tubes...but all those issues can be cured with a trip to home depot.
