I have a 2002 ford ranger that I will be trying to sell in the near future here and wanted some opinions.

It has 4:10's in the rear right now and was wondering if you guys think I should find a JY axle and switch my axle out to a higher geared fuel efficient gearing. say a 3:55 or 3:73?

Or should I just not worry about it at all?

I wouldn't worry about it. For every buyer wanting a 3.73, there's another wanting the 4.10.

Nobody goes out looking for a 4.0L Ranger AND gas mileage.

If I were to guess, I would say the 4.10s are the more desirable gear. If I was buying, its certainly what I would be after.

yeah if I was buyinh the vehicle I'd want 4:10's too. even though it is only 2wd. thanks for the opinions guys!!!
