3.4 swap

i love the toyota 3.4 v6 would it be possible to swap in a yota trans and v6?

If you really want to, anything within reason is possible given patience to sort out the wiring. Good engine, but I'd rather just buy the whole Toyota than spend the time putting it into a Ranger.

I just thought about this this morning and the 3.4 would be a great fit and everyone knows the original 2.3l was from Mazda mazwell put a Tacoma v6 in and make people mad at ford fest

My 1992 2.3 was running fine until I added a load lol an ac compressor that works now and now when it gets to temp it runs like a Volkswagen Beetle lol so I’ll wait for this engine to die head gasket most likely one day than time for swap

I'm pretty sure everyone doesn't know that the original Ranger 2.3 came from Mazda.

The original Ranger 2.3L is of the Lima engine family developed by Ford of Europe. The M5 trans was a Mazda unit.

Wasnt the ranger 2.3 just a pinto 2.3? So originally it was a pinto 2.0/2.3. Was ford even in bed with mazda that far back?

No, the M5 didn't come in the Pinto.
