So wanting to step up the ol ranger. Right now i'm running a 6" lift. I like the ttb it's holding up fine. Now the back is another story right now it's stacked blocks. I'v all ready broke 1 leaf pack and flexes like a dozer.
So i'm looking at redoing it. I was thinking of doing a link with coils. I think it's jeep coils that you use? Reason with going with coil is that i'm hitting the back bumper on some step climbs.

4-link would flex the best but leafs are cheaper and less work. The 63" Chevy leaf and one block should get you the same amount of lift and will flex a lot better if you get rid of the overload spring.

Build a bumper for the back that will have better clearance.

Am considering leafs, BUT im back on the bobbing the bed ideal, If I go with the cheavy leafs how much could I take outa the bed?

I'm not sure. You use the stock rear hanger for the Chevy leafs so you couldn't shorten it much.

You can't shorten it much at all... my rear shackles are pretty much at the back of my bed...

4 link it and you can chop the bed in half if you want lol

If you look at the chevy leaf swap on TRS, it shows about how much you have to cut which isn't much. However, with a proper bumper and 35's or bigger, your departure angle in favorable. Don't know exactly how much you want, I would vote for leafs and a custom bumper.

This is my old DD bomber, You can see how much I gained, and rangers have a over sprung reverse shackle vs. the Yotas which hangs down and is undersrpung.

63's are easy, flex well and are perfect for you if you hang your shackles off a custom rear bumper. I took 18" out of the back of my bed when I did this (long bed). Coils are sweet but will cost ya and are less stable then leafs. Ranger's are long and with length comes stability so this may not be a huge issue but I would not link the rear whilst you still have your TTB in front. (put the money towards a SAS) Check my build thread if you want pics.

You speak very negatively about the TTB...

haha not at all, I just know its limitations, flexy is sexy and the TTB has issues in that department.

Enough flex for yah? ;)

Its enough stuff and droop for anyone but unless youre jumping the truck you will rarely (Ive seen one major droop pic, guy was cresting a berm) get a similar picture to the ones you have above... The TTBs design makes them a big independent axle which has its benefits but a solid axle has the upper hand when rock crawling. Run the TTB till it blows, it will take an amazing amount of abuse.

It should not blow or break, and jumping it may happen lol
