3.0L v6 to 4.0L

Just wondering... how much would it take for me to pull my 3.0L v6 and take a 1998 4.0L and swap it into mine? would my transmission plug up and go or would i need to do anything different? or is there somethings i would have to do? im now smart with swapping engines im a newbie at it but i know how things work and such on

You'll need a 4.0L specific transmission. Look through the forums, this has been asked plenty of times. That'll give you a good start.
