I just got done rebuilding a 1994 3.0L v6 for my buddy. he got impatient and baught a jeep. so he said after all the work i put into it i can keep it. but im having one problem. after running for about 15 min. she starts to spit coolent out of the radiator. my first thought was either cracked head or gasket? gasket is brand new. so maybe cracked head? the guy we got it from seized the engine because he had no oil. crank shaft was completely dry when i stripped her down. so maybe she over heated and cracked a head? any ideas guys? about to pull back into my garage and start getting down to the heads again. could use all the help i can get. please and thank you

Not to state the obvious, but is the thermostat installed in the correct direction? Do you have the correct radiator cap on? Is it a new thermostat? If not was the old one tested to make sure it is working?

it is a new thermostat. it is in the right direction. its burning coolent right out the tail pipe?
