3.0L Timing chain Question

This is probably a stupid question guys, but when is the Timing Chain on the 3.0L supposed to be inspected and replaced? What mileage? Does it need to be? I'm not talking about the accessory/serpentine belt for alt, compressor, etc... but the actual valve timing/camshaft/whatever Timing chain.

Thanks,
Matt

The timing chain is supposed to outlive the engine without ever being touched.

Sweet! Thanks guys. That explains why I didn't see it on the maintenance schedule anywhere.

my trk died at 280000 miles from an oil pump failure, not a single problem in the timing dept, if that eases your worries.
