Hey new to the forum and I tried searching around on the site to find more info on what size muffler and piping I should use on my 3.0 ranger. I want to run it single in single out exit in Front of passenger rear tire. My stock exhaust is 2.25" but then it cups down to 2" right after the O2 sensor. Would it be ok to cut the pipe a few inches after the O2 Sensor so I can have 2.25" pipe running to a 2.5" muffler and then 2.5" piping after the muffler? or should I only cut the 2 inch pipe that is after the flange before the muffler?
