Can this safely be done? Im considering doing mabey 25 shot w nos at a time, but dont know what the engine can handle. Ive already got 456 gears and a Bamachip SCT programmer on the way, but need more power that reasonably safe.... :icon_confused:

im not sure but if you do put nos in your truck id strongly advice you to put a full rollcage on your truck.

its only a 25 shot. not like when he hits it he's gunna do a wheelie down the freeway.

Anymore help? does anyone have any experience with this.

Run colder plugs. Dunno what your gonna do about extra fuel, I geuss you'd have to spray it before the MAF sensor, But even then theres no garuntee that it wont go lean so you should get a Wideband A/F meter to keep an eye on things. Keep in mind the 3.0 has cast aluminum pistons and there not gonna be veary spray friendly.

you'll need a wet shot or larger injectors. the 3.0's 14lb/hr injectors barely sustain the motor in stock form....much less with a 25 dry shot.

there was a user on here a while back that was spraying a stock 3.0 with over 200,000 miles on it. he ran the truck regularly at a local track even and it seemed to hold up.
