3.0 to 2.3 engine swap

Hey everyone. I have a 1993 ranger 3.0 automatic I love the truck but not so much the drivetrain so far I've put a set of heads on the engine and the 2nd transmission went out a few months ago. But I'm not ready to let the truck go yet. I also have a complete 2.3 mustang with a 4 speed tranny I think it's a 89 model what I want to do is pull the engine and tranny out of the mustang and install it in my ranger I know the basic stuff like I'm gonna have to find a set of pedals and all that good stuff but I was wondering if anyone has done this swap before and could give me any advice before I take this on?

I would say just take your time and go slow, make everything as it comes off and organize everything cause theres nothing like not having enough or too much stuff left over.

im doing the same swap right now i got it all together easier just got no spark. anyway u need motor mounts and the motor mount brackets off a 2.3 ranger and the pedal assembly is just bolt in.
