3.0 swap - 2001 to 98

New to the site, great info here! Did a search but can't find an answer I need
looking to swap a 2001 ranger 3.0 into a 98 xlt ranger, I can also get the computer for the 01 motor, if needed. I know the block will match up, but wondering about all sensors & electrical.
Any advice?

Well after more reading it seems to be the same long block, not sure if I'll need to swap intake, can I use the 98 ECM?
