I've done the reseacrh, looked everywhere and from what I gather I'm good to go on putting my 1.72 roller rockers from my mustng onto my ranger. The Rockers are just sitting on a shelf, so I figured I shoulod use them. I'm familiar with th einstall, I've done plenty on mustangs.
What I can't find is what length bolt to use. I know it's a 8MX1.25 and I knw the stock length is 33, but what length should I use with the new install?
Also should I get hardened push rods and gguides or are the stock ones ok?
If so do I get stock 3.0 right off the shelf, or is their a special size to get?
Finally should I trace the metric threads and go with the 5/8 mustang bolts or stick with the metric ranger bolts?
