i've heard from a couple of people that the pressure plate from a 3.0 v6 will work on the 2.3 flywheel using a 2.3 friction disk. they've said the 3.0 has a better clamping force and by doing this it makes a cheap performance clutch. i just want to know if anyone has done this and how does it work?

Clutch kits for 2.3's and 3.0's are the same part number. So yeah, I'd say it would fit. More pressure? Nope.
