3.0 power

i have a 3.0 in my 97 ranger and its starting to run rough. its lifted 2" and i want to put 31" tires on it. so will these fit and how will i get some power to turn them because a v-8 swap is out of question.

They will fit fine and you don't need to do anything about power, I have 32's and the gearing is totally fine and my clutch is in great shape, However if you can't stand you truck not being a drag car you can swap in 4.10 gears which will make it more peppy.
