I've had the 4 piece set on my truck for almost 2 years. Love them. The truck revs much easier now. I did an e-fan conversion at the same time, and noticed about 2-3mpg gain as well as more power in the upper rpms. It felt like a brand new truck. I'd say its a must for any 3.0 owner.
The OP asked if anyone of us HAD TRIED them. I gave my results. I didn't claim that they gave me 30 more hp. All I can do is share my personal experience with these mods. If you've done these mods too, then please post your thoughts. You're welcome to come drive my truck and compare it to your stock 3.0. Oh thats right, you don't have a 3.0. hmmm.
I did the e-fan and pulleys separately and picked up a noticeable amount of power and fuel economy from each. About 1mpg and a much quieter interior with the e-fan, and a skosh over 1mpg from the crank pulley. Well worth the money.
Jim--
Not trying to start anything, as I don't post here much, but many of your posts are very predictable and are from a very closed minded point of view. Posts such as the ones in this thread don't answer any questions or give any helpful advise, it just sounds like a broken record.
I'm not trying to bash you, or put you down. It simply gets old reading the same stuff over and over again. We get the point, engineers at Ford are god and they know more than anyone else in the auto industry.
Had to get that off my chest, sorry if I've offended anyone.

I didn't make these posts for guys that have read them before. I made these posts for the new guys that don't know what or how to go about this or that.
I didn't notice you ragging on the other posters above that seem to think they got 3 mpg and more power! A fact that all engineers a Ford would argue against!
There is a certain idea that guys get about having outthunk the engineers that designed and built our rides. The idea is they spent 3 or 400 bucks and now have much more power and better milage!
The point that I attempt to make is.. IF it were possible it would already have been done! When all we have to go by is the bright red boxes and the advertisements a little straight forward thinking is in order.
Put that in conjunction with the TV shows that DEPEND on geegaws to have a show and you have guys spending money left and right..with no results.
NAME me one show that EVER said "don't buy one of these they don't do squat!"
Then we get guys that HAVE spent the money and might have a bit more intake noise or other exhaust noise and they THINK that means power or milage.. Or perhaps they KNOW the truth but are ashamed to say they were TAKEN IN by the advertisements or the posts of others that were too ashamed to post the truth.
If a new guy is armed with all the possible facts and then he wishes to spend his money..GOOD for him! He made a well informed decesion. That's all I'm spending my time here for.

I respect your opinions, as you seem to be an intelligent person, and agree completley that both sides of an issue should be considered. But why continue to argue and discount what others have done when they have personal experience with it and you have none? Think about it, you are saying that your ideas and hypotheses outwiegh our physical results and raw data.
I average 18-19 highway mpg when I run e85. That number jumps to 22-23 mpg with gasoline, which is better than most 3.0's.
