Looking for definitive information on R&R of the oil pan gasket. There are plenty of threads here and on the internet but I found nothing definite about removing the transmission to get the pan out. AllData, online shop manual, shows that the trans has to be removed. Everything says to unbolt engine mounts and raise engine but nothing positive about trans. I have not crawled under there to take a look myself. Debating whether to farm this job out or not.
