3.0 Exhaust specs

Ok so about a year ago I had the flange on my exhaust fail and I repaired it with one of those cheapo flange kits. Well the seal is leaking at the flange and I am sick of the sputtering sound. So I am thinking of using a stainless exhaust clamp and cutting the whole flange off (which I know is still not the best way for repair but the route I have chosen). However after reading and visually assessing my exhaust it appears that it reduces just centimeters before the flange so I would need to cut it off before this reduction.

My question is what are the measurements before and after the reduction. I need to know if the measurements are OD or ID because I am likely going to have to buy a reducer and 2 clamps.

Not sure if those are published specs, in any case I have never run across stock exhaust dimension specs like those.

I assume this is the exhaust manifold down pipe flange?
Any changes in diameter of a tuned exhaust system(stock are tuned) are done on purpose.
Tuning or scavenging exhaust creates a lower pressure at the exhaust ports, this helps pullout exhaust from cylinder.
The diameter and length of the pipe controls when the lowest pressure is seen in the RPM range.
3rd party headers usually cause the lowest pressure low in the RPM range, but racing headers set lowest pressure in the high RPM range, stock is generally mid-range, although some stock exhausts tune low-range for more "pep".

I believe that's the flange (below the passenger seat). I want to keep it stock, I just want to know what sizes I am dealing with before I start cutting in so I can have the right parts ready to install. I agree that they aren't published anywhere but was hoping someone has hacked into one of these and gave it a quick measure!

Are you talking about the flange that connects to the cat?
