3.0 engine swap

I would like to know what engines will work in a 99 ranger 4x4 ext cab 3.0 flex with auto trans. I came across a 95-96 ranger with a 3.0 and a bad trans. My engine is shot no compression . Can I put the 95-96 3.0 in it and use my intake injectors and sensors and get my truck back on the road . Please help thanks

Check with the auto parts house for a gasket kit. If the gasket kit fits both engines then you are good to go.

The lower take gaskets are the same , do yall think this engine will work as a replacement until I can get another engine or mine rebuilt. I need this truck running asap. Thanks for the help.
