so I just pulled a 2.9 out at the local yard, and awhile ago i was looking at a Ford parts webpage they show a 3.0 crankshaft, below it says ( retrofits 2.9L). after looking at the specs, the stroke is significantly longer in the 3.0. I plan on boring it out anyways, so why not stroke it aswell? just wondering if anyone has any experience stroking a 2.9, if so did they use this 3.0 crank or one from another source?
