3.0 carb questions

I am considering doing a carb conversion on my 3.0 A4LD. The ignition and fuel delivery is the easy part but how will the A4LD work without all of the sensors? Has anyone done this?

The A4LD is vacuum controlled.

Seems there is some way to get around the electronic lockup solenoid for the TQ converter...maybe wire it on a switch? Its been discussed before but i dont remember.

Pressure switch.....two wire valvebody.

Cause before your souless computer controls there were these mythical things that delivered fuel and air and didnt require a laptop to tune.

No laptop needed for a carb but it helps if you're a wizard.
