do all 2 wd ranger have a factory traction lock ?

It,s winter here !! hey ! :yahoo:

but having a 4wd ranger with a wide open rear diff aint fun ! getting stuck in your own drive way make you feel really stupid, even more way your dad ask you if his dakota need to tow you out :icon_rofl: and since my e-brake are gone since a long time, having to shut your engine off just to twist on those lock hub :bawling: it aint cool

i know it's cheaper if i just take a rear axle at the junkyard that already as a traction lock than installing one and at the same time i could try to find one with workable e-brake ! :icon_idea:

I have never had this experience of being stuck in the driveway with a 4x4 due to an open diff.

Perhaps you need to review your driving skills rather than your vehicle configuration.
