I have a 2wd A4LD tranny and i was wondering if i could replace the 2wd extension housing with a 4wd so i can fit a transfer case on it? or is that not possible?

Like Krypton said always search first, if you did then say you did.
For your question....NO! The transmission will need to be disassembled and have another output shaft put in it.
