2WD Suspension . . . softer

Shocks...

Shocks are new + 3-5000 on a complete new front end rebuild. Shocks are Autozone - factory replacements. It's just the dip going into shopping centers, pulling off the main street, etc. - hit them at an angle at the right speed and a Ranger will rattle you around in the cab.

My 2006 w/6500 miles did the same, and I discovered the stock front shocks had little rebound damping. I replaced them w/Bilsteins which control the front end much better. Driving at an angle over a ramped entryway no longer throws me around the cab.

Woody- I know what ur talkin about I took both shocks off the front end & it glides down the road, which proves it's more of a shock problem (but we know that aint safe at all) I'm tryin to find some girly car shocks to use on the front end--like the guys said, trucks is built to haul big rocks. But, I still think I can find some shocks at Napa for a car that will fit my Ranger--the valving in a car shock ought to be soft enough to smooth out the coffee-cup-emptying characteristics of a Ranger. The local Napa store has a complete list of shocks & lenghts to fit anything....:icon_hornsup:
