I have a Stock 97 ranger /w 235/70/15
it looks ehhhh ok...
I want to lift it up and put some bigger tires 33's ? 35's ?
definatly take the nose dive look away...

what am i looking at to achieve the goal ?

id prefer the 35's but, something tells me thats probably going to cost me a whole lot more than i really want to spend on the truck. not to mention the work involved.

or is it as easy as a lift kit and some new tires?

Anything is easy with the right amount of money. These trucks can be intersting to lift. You run into a lot of camber issues. to fit 35's you will need lots of lift and it would be pretty expensive. And with a 2.3 you will need to re gear in order to turn those size tires.

I just have a 2'' leveling kit ($50) 3'' body lift I used one off of a 89 model and it worked fine the one for those are only like a ($100) & my 33s fit just fine and I know that 35s will with factory offset wheels, maybe a lil triming. And i would definately consider lower gears in the rear.
