I was calling around town and most of the places either dont do susp. lifts on 91 rangers or if they do a 6" is gonna run me 1800, i can pay for it but im looking to save as much cash, i know how the saying goes but i still want to save some change, also the place that said they couldnt do said if i get the kit they would install they just dont have those in stock is what they meant, and the labor they said about 400 with alignment, does this sound ok?

what im looking to do is 5.5" higher and put 32" on , the 6" sup. kits are pricy but i like the 4" kit from roughcountry and it would run me under 500 dollars, so im thinking of doing that and having the prof. install it and then later getting a 3" body lift and put that one later, is that possible? and would 32's work with a 4"susp? hmm any ideas or other sites that have a cheaper 6" i could get.. thanks guys..

Mine has a 3" or 4" (I think its 3") rough country lift and a 3" body lift and I think it could clear 32", it has 31" on it now.

ahh ok and did u do either yourself? i like how roughcountry has the step by step instructions just not sure on the susp lift i can drill the wholes etc. due to lack of power tools, i have wrenches/ect just not centerpunch and drill, let me know mate, thanks

My dad did both when it was his truck. I did a body lift on my S10 before I sold it and there was no problem, just simple hand tools.

A 4" lift should clear 32"s. I have 31" and just a leveling kit just fine.

I could clear 32s I have 31s right now. same lift but for third Gens. Did it myself...you could do it with what you got buy it will be harder. I say take what you would have paid for labor and invest in some power or air tools.
