I was just lookin over my guage cluster i pulled out to change the bulbs and noticed on the back that left side theres 3 bulb, (from bottom to top) 3. 4x4 low 2. 4x4 ILL 1. speed control

Also noticed 2 of the bulbs and the plasict caps are missing (one on top of each other)that say, bottom one ck susp. and the top Haz (assuming hazzard lights)
If i shine a light thru them the bottom one that says ck susp. shows a fuel pump w/ little splashes, guessin low fuel light. top ones got nothing.

Its kindda got me wondering if this is actually the original cluster?

Its on the truck in my sig.

They usually use the same cluster regardless. I have lights in my Super Duty that do not come on. One says "Chk Susp" and another is the glow plug coil wait lamp.

All they do is leave the bulbs and or sockets on on vehicles that do not need them.

What I find interesting, is to go to fleet.ford.com and download the owners manuals of various vehicles to see where and what all idiot lights they have.

ahh, cool, i was just curious cause seen the 4x4 lights on my 2wd got me thinkin lol

Thanks, Ill check that link out :)
